Between Friends

"Between Friends" is a romance novel about an artist's quest for love. Drene, a sculptor, is currently working on his latest sculpture and has hired an attractive young woman, Cecile White, to model for him. After an intimate conversation one day, she reveals to Drene, that his friend Jack Graylock has asked her to marry him. But the news seems to light a new fire in Drene, when he realizes that he cannot bear to lose her. Meanwhile a mutual friend informs Jack about Drene's interest in Cecile, and the mocking way he does it only succeeds in lighting a fire in him.
