Über Kir Bulychev

Kir Bulychev (Igor Mozheyko) (18.10.1934 - 09.05.2003). Born in Moscow. In 1957 he graduated from the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages named after Maurice Thorez. He worked as a translator and reporter APN in Burma as a correspondent in the magazine Around the World. In 1962 he graduated from the graduate school of the Institute of Oriental Studies of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR. From 1963 he worked at the Institute of Oriental Studies. In 1965 he defended his thesis on Paganskoe State (XI-XIII centuries). In 1981 he defended his doctoral thesis on The Buddhist Sangha and State in Burma. He began writing fiction in 1965. Translated into Russian fiction works of American writers. Screenwriter. Filmed more than 20 works. Laureate of the State Prize of the USSR in 1982 for the screenplay for the film Through Adversity to the Stars and the animated feature The Mystery of the Third Planet. Laureate fiction Aelita-97. Alias is configured by the name of his wife Kira and mother's maiden name of the writer Maria Mikhailovna Bulycheva. One of the most famous works of Kir Bulychev are Alice's Adventures and The Great Guslyar
