The Weird Adventures of Professor Delapine

A professor conducts experiments in reaching the dead and the results get away from him. Johnson was an eye surgeon of standing who published this novel in 1916, out of his own long interest in psychical research. This edition is bound with 54 plates of night painting by Goya, Munch, Grimshaw and others, ranging from moonlit docks to scenes of the Inquisition.
