Lara Faip, promising, colored, danceuse in the long gone Moulin Rouge, watches the bi-yearly casino setup from across the street. Once she was a celebrity name, written on the bilboards. All gone. Broken in one night. One instant. The dream of colored minority guests. The hope to many of her generation. Lara, to this day, works to rebuild the Moulin Rouge, and its hope, in Las Vegas.
