Micheal O hAodha

Dr. Mícheál Ó hAodha is a Visiting Lecturer at the Department of History, University of Limerick Ireland. He has written and edited more than 100 books in both Irish and English, mainly as relating to the history of migration and the Irish diaspora. Two recent books are Thar Toinn (Across the Water) Dublin: Coiscéim, (2013), an anthology of short stories set amongst the Irish diaspora and as written by Ireland’s leading short story writers in Irish and “The Silent People?” : New Perspectives on the Irish Abroad (with Máirtín Ó Catháin, University of Central Lancashire, UK); London: Rowman and Littlefield (2013). He is a regular contributor to the Irish-language sections of The Irish Times.
