Matej Capo

Matej Capo earned a Bachelor's, Master's and Doctoral degree in general history from the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, Slovakia. In 2021, he successfully defended his PhD thesis entitled ´´Preßburg and the Franco-Austrian War of 1809´´. His research deals with the Napoleonic Wars especially in relation to the territory of today's Slovakia. He is Fellow of the ´´International Napoleonic Society´´ and a representative of ´´The 1809 International Research Society´´ in Slovakia. He has published several articles and papers on the subject.
