George Chetwynd Griffith

George Chetwynd Griffith (1857 – 1906) was a Science Fiction and fantasy writer whose early works helped to define the genre. He was a lover of the strange, the ancient, the fantastic, and the possible. He was also a lover of the drink, and, sadly, he died at the age of 49 of cirrhosis of the liver.
