Priscilla's Spies

A boy and a girl on the Irish coast decide that the yachtsman anchored offshore is a foreign spy and set about proving it, with results nobody wanted. Birmingham was a Church of Ireland rector whose comic novels were popular enough to be resented by both sides in Irish politics. This edition includes 58 plates of paintings by Walter Osborne, Frits Van den Berghe, Jan Matejko and Claude Monet, dating from 1851 to 1928.
