Barry Flynn

Barry Flynn is from Belfast and a graduate of Queen’s University in Political Science. The author of three books on Irish boxing, one on Tyrone football and one on soccer, his most recent book is Soldiers of Folly – The IRA Border Campaign 1956–1962 (Cork, 2009). He works for BBC Radio Ulster as a sports correspondent and has contributed to RTE, INN and Newstalk
