"The U. P. Trail" is a romance and adventure novel about a young Union Pacific construction engineer, happening during the last two years surveying and building a railroad through the mountains of Wyoming. The noble and brave young hero has to save his beloved lady, who has a special talent for getting into all sorts of misfortunes, like being kidnaped by Indians or bad guys or imprisoned by her evil stepfather.
