Niels Ebbesen, and Germand Gladenswayne: Two Ballads

The following book contains two poems inspired by two real-life figures: Niels Ebbesen and Germand Gladenswayne. Ebbesen was a Danish squire and national hero, known for his killing of Gerhard III, Count of Holstein-Rendsburg. Gladenswayne was a Danish folk hero, born from a royal couple who was fated to die in the hands of a monster.
