Tom Brown at Oxford

Tom Brown goes up to Oxford and finds boat races, bad company, a barmaid and the beginnings of a conscience. Hughes wrote it as the sequel to Schooldays and put his own Christian socialism into it. This edition binds 52 plates after Frith, Leighton and Corbould, among others, alongside five restored and coloured illustrations.
