"The Carolinian" is a novel by the famed Italian-English author Rafael Sabatini. The story is set in the nation of America during the time of its War of Independence. The New World is a place of wonder, excitement and a place where many a European can make a fresh start. But as King George's government seeks to extend its reach there and impose laws and taxes, many there view this as unacceptable and rebellion is brewing in the land.
