Bits of Blarney

Irish anecdote and character - the priest, the piper, the hedge schoolmaster, the man who never told the same story twice. Shelton Mackenzie was a Cork man who edited in Philadelphia and wrote these for readers who had left. This edition is bound with 59 plates of paintings by John William Waterhouse, John Hoppner and Thomas Beach, and includes one restored colour illustration.
