The True Prophecies of Nostradamus

The prophecies in an early English translation, quatrain by quatrain, with the seventeenth-century commentary that first tried to fit them to events. A document of how the text was read three hundred years ago rather than a modern interpretation. This edition adds fifty-eight bound plates after Rubens, Kauffmann, Fagan and Füger, and one restored and coloured in-text illustration, in Garencières's translation.
