Weird Tales from Northern Seas

Norwegian tales of the sea and what lives under it - the draug in his half-boat, the sea-serpent, the fisherman who bargains badly. Lie was one of the four great Norwegian writers of his century and these came from the coast he grew up on. This edition adds R. Nisbet Bain's translation and a gallery of 59 plates of painting bound with the book, among them works by Anna Boberg, Gunnar Berg and Edvard Munch.
