Whirlpools

'Whirlpools' is a novel by Henryk Sienkiewicz set in modern Poland. The story begins by showing us the friendship between Gronski, an average university student, and the young heir of the wealthy Jastrzeb family, Ladislaus Krzycki. Gronski arrives at the Krzycki family home for a visit and catches up with Ladislaus over supper.
