The Woman of Knockaloe: A Parable

This is a romance story set on the Isle of Man during the First World War. Mona's brother is called up for service and she is left with her aging father. The authorities want to set up an internment camp for German POWs and Mona Craine agrees to provide food for the Germans. She hates them but falls in love with a young German called Oskar. Their blossoming romance is where Mona's life begins to get complicated.
