The Limits of Atheism; Or, Why Should Sceptics Be Outlaws?

This book, written in the latter part of the nineteenth century is more a defense of the right to be an atheist, than of atheism as a doctrine. The author objects to the notion that atheists are somehow 'outside the law' and are little better than common criminals.
