Nia Liston: The Merciless Maiden Volume 11

After letting loose, Nia manages to bring a temporary end to the insect threat of Marvelia. Now free of the state’s and the mafia’s harassment, she begins to enjoy her time in the Mech Kingdom, taking Akashi’s experimental horseless carriage for a spin, training her new students, and making desserts with the children. On the horizon is Winterfest, a festival to welcome in the safe winter. While the celebrations usually include a display of duels between mech knights, Nia’s romp out east has left many of them in need of repairs. Responsibility for the exhibition shifts to the Mech Studies students who are now down their ace pilot after Nia’s negotiation with the king. When the opportunity to win their ace pilot back is offered, they jump at the chance. But while Nia is entirely disinterested in fighting mech knights herself, she’s more than ready to put her students through their paces.
