Anthony Trollope

A life of Trollope by a man who knew him, published thirty years after his death when his reputation was at its lowest - the Post Office career, the hunting, the clubs and the writing hours. Escott had the anecdotes from the people who were there. This edition is bound with 60 plates of paintings, among them works by Raeburn, Millet and Millais, and includes a preface and an index.
