Über Dave Cockerill
Dave Cockerill held the role of RYA Topper UK Squad Head Coach for 14 years. He is the Topper 4.2 National Coach and was instrumental in introducing the centre mainsheet and 4.2 sail to the class. His passion, enthusiasm and technical knowledge have helped guide a huge number of sailors (and their parents) through the Topper class to achieve some fantastic results and also develop sailors for a future in the sport. He also heads up the Topper All-Girls Programme for the RYA.
Formerly a technology teacher, with his sailing expertise, passion for the sport and formidable knowledge, Dave set up Sailing Solutions in 2000. Initially buying and selling second hand Toppers and Lasers around the south coast and Chichester harbour areas, they now sell everything from new boats and parts to diet and hydration products.
