Peter the Hermit: A Tale of Enthusiasm

This book is a biography of Peter the Hermit. He was a Roman Catholic priest of Amiens and a key figure during the military expedition from France to Jerusalem, known as the People's Crusade and the First Crusade. He is also known for his role in the Rhineland massacres. By some, he is called Blessed Peter the Hermit, though he has not been beatified in the Catholic Church.
