"Fifteen Hundred Miles an Hour" is a science fiction novel by Charles Edward Dixon, a world-famous naturalist, particularly well known for his work in ornithology. Dixon was famous for his love of nature and passion for its close observation. He was reported to write one of his books right in the eagle nest. Yet, he was interested not only in the earthly skies. He was fascinated by the idea of travel to Mars which he expressed in the presented novel.
