The Valleys of Tirol

The valleys of the Tyrol and what the people in them told a listening Englishwoman: the customs of the year, the saints kept locally, the stories about the mountains. Busk collected in the original dialects and translated as she went. This edition is bound with 59 plates of paintings by Robert Eberle, Thomas Ender, Anton Hlávacek and others, dated 1564–1918, and includes a preface and index.
