The Female of the Species

"The Female of the Species" is an addition to the "Bulldog Drummond" novel series about the First World War veteran who, fed up with his sedate lifestyle, advertises looking for excitement, and becomes a gentleman adventurer. Drummond's wife receives a mysterious letter and leaves the house to go out. Now she is missing and when her Bentley is found in a sorry state, she is nowhere to be seen. Meanwhile Drummond is involved in an altercation with two men at the 'Cat and Custard Pot' club. But were the two events merely a coincidence, or is there something more sinister at play…
