The Royal End

"The Royal End" is a romantic novel about the love life in the late Victorian-era higher society. The author of the novel, Henry Harland, was an American novelist and editor whose works were characterized by the great influence of the Aesthetic movement. Interestingly, the novel "The Royal End" was never finished by Harland during his lifetime. His wife completed it from his notes and published it posthumously.
