"Mystery Ranch" by Arthur Chapman
Chapman was an early twentieth-century American poet and newspaper columnist. Due to his love of the west, he wrote a subgenre of American poetry known as Cowboy Poetry. However, this book is part of his foray into the mystery genre. Westerns and enigmas go together seamlessly in this novel that rivals mysteries that are considered "high society" stories. It takes place on a reservation as the world was starting to move into modern times.
